Technical
Although our application list is already comprehensive, we are frequently adding new applications to it. If your particular requirement is not listed, we may still be able to help.
Almost all our wheels are cast as blanks and we are able to machine a variety of PCD’s (bolt patterns) and offsets.
The offset is calculated from the centre line of the wheel to the back face of the wheel, and a backface in line with the centre of the wheel is zero offset.
If the backface is forward of this line towards the front of the wheel it is a positive offset and toward the rear of the wheel from the centre line is a negative offset.
We can calculate these offsets if you can give us the ‘C’ dimension otherwise known as the backspace as shown in the following diagram.
The above information is common to all our wheels whether aluminium or magnesium and includes the new range of EV2000 wheels which like most modern wheels has a high positive offset.
