Ferodo DS3.12;
compound has been developed from testing with top level GT race teams and is designed to benefit heavier, more powerful race cars. DS3.12 compound pads feature a very flat torque curve for predictable and consistent braking which is perfect for cars with ABS.
- Highest friction level of any Ferodo compound. Suitable for heavier cars running wide slicks.
- Flat torque curve for excellent predictability and consistency up to 850 deg C
- Longest pad life of any Ferodo compound
- Initial braking torque designed to complement ABS
- Thermally treated for reduced bedding in time
Ferodo DS3.12 brake pads are ideally suited to heavy, powerful cars with a lot of grip. They offer fade free braking up to a temperature of 850 deg C with a virtually flat torque curve between 400-700 deg C. This provides extremely predictable braking lap after lap with reduced pedal travel. The initial torque curve is designed to provide a smooth introduction of ABS for improved driver confidence. Recommended for sprint and medium duration races.
Thermal Treatment
These DS3.12 brake pads are subjected to a very high heat treatment during the manufacturing process. This is done to reduce the bedding in time on pads with a larger surface area. The bedding in procedure on these pads can be as little as 5 braking application. The thermal treatment also stabilises the resins in the material eliminating pad shrinkage.
Ferodo DS3.12 brake pads are designed for competition / off-road use, and as such are not approved for use on the road.

MAIN APPLICATIONS: GT, Rally, TC, Formula, heavy duty track use
MAIN FEATURES
• High friction coefficient and high initial bite, similar to DS3.12 but with less torque build-up during the stop for enhanced controllability
• ABS compatible
• Together with DS3.12 it has the longest pad life of the Ferodo Racing range under heavy duty track use
• Applications: recommended for track use on larger vehicles with ABS such as GT4 and GT3 and also works well in rally
• Reproducible and stable performance up to 800°C under all pressure and speed conditions
• It has been used at the Nürburgring and SPA 24 hour events
