Sandwich plates provide an oil take off from the engine block to supply a feed to oil coolers and other external oil devices. The plate fits between the engine block and the screw on oil filter and has two female 1/2 BSP ports for feed and return of oil flow.
Sandwich plates are available to suit most cars with a spin on type oil cooler. See the vehicle listing to find the correct plate for your car. Options are available with a built in thermostat which only allows oil to flow to the cooler once the temperature reaches 80 degrees C. This allows the oil to warm up quicker reducing engine wear.
